As I write this, I am upright (on a couch anyway) and NOT in a coma in the bed for 2 days straight, struggling through the aches to get up from the bed to go pee. That was me a few days ago. Before that, it was my oldest daughter. Since that, it was my wife. And NOW, my youngest is fighting it.
We're among the thousands, millions who are fighting some body-infectious virus this winter 2022 season. Maybe you are too? Gawd, it's been awful since about [September](http://moosevoice.com/Blog/index.php?id=when-your-tool-goes-down) where there's been some form of cough, sneeze or ache in our house. I don't think I've had the flu that bad since maybe somewhere between 2010-2015. 2 years stuck at home and not a person was sick and now it's ALLLLL catching up to us. But not surprising as the experts are [saying ](https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/10/why-flu-season-is-so-bad-this-year.html)that collectively we've been not exposed to the Flu, RSV, etc. because of the COVID precautions. Now that things are relaxed to almost normal, those bugs are like: Let's hope the youngest doesn't have it as bad because generally you want your kids to be happy and healthy but, selfishly, she's already so much [work](https://nr2f1.org/what-is-bbsoas/) that her Mom and I REALLY don't need the added work. Hopefully this will be the last time (see the above linked previous 'i'm sick' post) but it bares repeating: stay hydrated, cough into your elbow and wear a mask when going out. Please. Thank you. Dr. Moose
